About the Event
The Toronto Carnival Run® is a Caribbean inspired running event to encourage health, wellness, and active living. Whether you're a beginner or novice, Toronto Carnival Run® welcomes all ages and backgrounds to improve their physical and mental health through running.
This annual event takes place in downtown Toronto one week before North America's largest cultural parade, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival (formerly known as Caribana), along the same route.
This time of year will give runners a beautiful view of Lake Ontario with a feeling of the island morning breeze. Enjoy this fast, flat course! This race offers a 1K Kids run, 5K run/walk and 10K run/walk option. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers.
Toronto Carnival Run® is not only about encouraging active living, but bringing the community together in celebrating and promoting the beauty of Toronto’s cultural diversity in a positive and healthy way.
This event is in support of The Simunye Foundation.
